Flying Dutchman solos at KCWI

Congratulations to Zach Dykstra for his exemplary performance in the pattern here at Clinton airport. Zach has been grinding out his landings for the past months, perfecting his technique. Yesterday, Memorial day, he was ready to do take to the skies, and then land, without his instructor. It is said that takeoffs are optional and landings are mandatory, (they really are) Zach proved he has what it takes to be a safe pilot. Great job Zach! This is a milestone you will never forget. Congrats to his family for their support, and to Parfait his instructor for his guidance!
